- Accumulator (Parlay)
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for you to get a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the match, often with half or quarter goal lines to remove draws.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Slip
- A digital record that lists the bets you want to place and their details.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can wager against each other, rather than against the bookmaker.
- Bookmaker Margin (Juice)
- The built-in profit a bookmaker includes in the odds, making the total payout lower than the true odds.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A bet that both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Deposit Limit
- A setting that caps how much money you can deposit into your account over a certain period.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match (e.g., home win or draw).
- Free Bet
- A bonus bet that you can use to place a wager without using your own money.
- Futures (Outright)
- A bet placed on the winner of a tournament, league, or award before it begins.
- Lay Bet
- To bet that a particular outcome will not happen, essentially acting as the bookmaker.
- Market
- A specific type of bet you can place on a match, such as who wins or how many goals are scored.
- Odds
- Numbers that show how likely an outcome is and how much you can win if your bet is correct.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals, points, or other stats will be higher or lower than a set figure.
- Payout
- The total money you receive when a bet wins, including your original stake.
- Prop Bet
- A side bet on a specific event within a match, such as which player scores first.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools designed to help you bet safely and avoid addiction.
- Self-Exclusion
- A process that temporarily or permanently blocks you from betting on the site.
- Stake
- The amount of money you put on a bet.
- Staking Plan
- A method that decides how much of your bankroll to wager on each bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds appear higher than the true likelihood of the outcome, giving an expected advantage.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw any winnings.
